ABOUT MAYONG
Welcome to Mayong Village! This is a hilly and panoramic village which is located in the northern part of Bali. Mayong village is 20 km west south of Lovina away from the hustle bustle. It is a 2-3 hour drive from Denpasar and for a day trip is best down by taxi or as part of a tour. The village is considered a heaven among agricultural tourism destinations.
Mayong Rice Fields
Most tourists only recognize the terraced paddy fields in Tabanan, Badung and Gianyar. However, only few of them know that North of Bali has the same potential in the form of a large agricultural tourism spot. Subak (Bali irigation system) in Poh Asem, Mayong, has been crowned as the winner of Bali’s subak irrigation in 2010. This proves that Mayong village has many potential attraction to be more developed.
