HISTORY

In Javanese language, Menjangan means deer.  Is is called Menjangan island because every season there are many wild deer swimming to the island.
So it is not surprising that on this island there are many wild deer. But unfortunately, the presence of wild deer gradually increased in number.
This prompted the regional government to build the West Bali National Park, which is included in our Incredible West Bali Tour, as a means of conservation of wild deer and biodiversity on this island.
The island also offers a beautiful panorama of natural white sand beaches and underwater beauty with abundant biodiversity.

HOW TO GET THERE

Menjangan Island is located in the north of the West Bali National Park area, in Klampok Village, Grokgak District, Buleleng Regency, Bali. This place can be reached in approximately 1,5 hours from Lovina and 3,5 hours from Denpasar.  From Lalang Harbour, you have to cross the sea by boat for about 20 minutes.

Menjangan Island is one of the best snorkeling and diving spots in Bali, where you can enjoy the underwater beauty. The spot is not only in one place, but in several location. First, near the port which is close to the beach. At the edge you will enjoy small fish passing by, while if you head a little to the center, you will see coral reefs with colorful fish.
