Mount Batur is the second highest mountain in Bali after Mount Agung, has 2 paths, namely Toya Bungkah Village and Pura Jati.
The estimated climb time is approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on the speed you climb. Usually tourists prefer the Toya Bungkah route.



Tips for Trekking Mt. Batur

  1. The most important thing is to bring down your trash. Don’t litter, don’t scratch anything you pass, and don’t damage nature.
  2. It is recommended to exercise a week before climbing, although the mountain is not too high, but the route is quite challenging for novice climbers. This is to prevent cramps in the middle of the trip.
  3. Bring raw eggs from the bottom to boil them when you reach the top. Even though there are some eggs sellers at the top, the price can be more expensive.
  4. Calculate climbing time if you do not bring a tent, lest you reach the top a few hours before sunrise. So you donโ€™t have to wait too long and avoid shiver.
